Shaogang Township
Shaogang township is a township under the jurisdiction of Kangma County, Tibet Autonomous Region, located in the north of Kangma County, Tibet Autonomous Region.
Shaogang Township, 20 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 307.4 square kilometers and has a population of 2419 (2017). It has jurisdiction over four village committees: Shaogang, Longba, Manze and Daxue. Mainly in agriculture, planting highland barley, wheat, rape and so on. Shaogang township was established in 1960, changed into Hongqi commune and Manze commune respectively in 1967, and changed back to Shaogang Township when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged in 1987.
