Renbu County governs the township. Renbu township was established in 1962, changed into a commune in 1968, and restored to a township in 1982. When the district was withdrawn and the township was merged in 1988, the former Jiefang township was incorporated. Five kilometers away from the county government.

It covers an area of 300 square kilometers and has a population of 2700. China Nepal highway passes through the northern part of the township. Geography

Renbu county is located in the south of Tibet Autonomous Region and the east of Shigatse, 130 kilometers away from Shigatse City. It has a total area of 2122.82 square kilometers and a population of 31000. It is located between the Gangdise mountains and the Himalayas, with high mountains and deep valleys, undulating mountains, crisscross gullies and dense rivers, with an average altitude of about 3950 meters. The main rivers are the Yarlung Zangbo River and its tributaries, such as Chaqu and Zhaqu. It belongs to temperate semi-arid plateau monsoon climate. The annual precipitation is 451.5mm, the sunshine is sufficient, the average annual temperature is 6.8 ℃, and the frost free period is 115 days.

Culture

Mainly agriculture. There are 32 monasteries in Cailu Lake (yegeng Lake), Cuola mountain peak and Dangmu mountain peak, which belong to red sect, Yellow Sect, flower sect and white sect.
