Qiongkulchak Township
Qiongkorqiak Township, belonging to Bachu County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Bachu county. It is connected with Selibuya town in the East, yingwusitang Township in the south, Jiashi County in the West and Jiashi County in the north. It is 109km away from Bachu County, with a total area of 431.24km2.
Qiongkuerqiak, written in Qing Dynasty literature as "qiugujueke", "quekeqiak", is a small village under the jurisdiction of awatai village; in 1984, it was changed from qiongkuqiak commune to qiongkuerqiak township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Qiong Kor Chuck township was 45254. In 2019, there will be 26 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of qiongkulchak village, and the people's government will be stationed in qiongkulchak Baza village.
In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises and 44 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in qiongkorchak township.
History of construction
Qiongkorchak, written in Qing Dynasty literature as "qiugujueke" and "quekechak", is a small village under the jurisdiction of awatai village. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to akedunzhuang.
In 1941, it was a civilian area. In 1943, it belonged to Fuyuan township.
In 1950, it belonged to akedun district (5 districts).
In 1953, it belongs to qiongkuchak district.
In 1958, qiongkuchak district and Awati District became Awati commune.
In 1965, four administrative areas in the north of Awati District, namely, qinaibage, qiongkuchak, kiznur and bagrahulak, were built into qiongkuchak commune.
In 1968, it was renamed red flag commune.
In 1978, the name of qiongkuchak commune was restored.
In 1984, the commune of qiongkulchak was changed into qiongkulchak township.
