Tianhong town

Tianhong Town, located in the southwest of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is adjacent to Duchang County in the South and Hukou County in the West. The town has "longgongdong scenic spot" and "xianzhenyan scenic spot", which is a famous tourist town in the north of Jiangxi Province.

The town has a total area of 121.5 square kilometers and a population of 16473 (2017). There are 17000 mu of cultivated land, 10 million mu of water surface, 62000 mu of closed Hillsides for afforestation and 10000 mu of forest. The town has 10 administrative villages, including Miaoqian, Dagang, Xianfeng, Tianhong Agricultural Science Institute, Tuanjie, Qianshan, Fengming, Wushan and Fengshan, a complete junior middle school and a complete primary school, a central kindergarten and a health center.

Tianhong town is surrounded by hills and plains. Tianhong town is rich in cotton, rice and rape, with an annual output of 15000 tons of lint and 14 million jin of rice. In addition, fresh aquatic products, live pigs, chickens and ducks, eggs and livestock products are also very rich. The industry has begun to take shape. There are two bamboo processing plants with an annual output value of more than 2 million yuan, Dongxing ginning plant with a total investment of nearly 4 million yuan, red brick plant with an annual production of 7 million red bricks, quarry with an annual quarrying capacity of 17000 cubic meters, and many small enterprises such as oil chemical industry, building decoration, food processing, etc. The third industry is also developing rapidly.

The traffic conditions are convenient

The whole line of Jiujing expressway runs through and the National Road Hanning line passes by. It is 70km away from Jiujiang station of Beijing Kowloon Railway. Tongjiu railway has been put into operation since July 1, 2008. Some freight trains have been diverted in advance, and now passenger trains have been put into operation, which makes the land transportation of Tianhong very convenient. The 5000 DWT ship terminal in the county can be traced back to Chongqing and down to Shanghai. Water transportation is very convenient.
