Xiangyang town

Xiangyang Town, belonging to Wuchang City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang, is located in the southeast of Wuchang City, and is located on the east side of Shahe town and Longfeng Mountain Township. It is located in the south of Jilin, Shulan, and Jinma Town, across the river. The west is adjacent to the mountain town, and the north is connected with Dujia town. In 2018, the area was 361 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 33931.

In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chongli township of Wuchang Prefecture. In the Republic of China, it was the third district of Wuchang county. In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1986, the township was transformed into a town. In 2001, Baoshan Township was incorporated. As of October 2019, Xiangyang town has 17 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 38 industrial enterprises in Xiangyang Town, including 8 Enterprises above Designated Size and 28 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Xiangyang town is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Lalin river. The Lalin river flows through the whole territory, with a total length of more than 40 kilometers. With rich water resources and convenient and sufficient water diversion, Xiangyang Irrigation District, Shuangxing irrigation district and Baoshan irrigation district have a total length of 45 kilometers, benefiting three towns and two townships.
