Renbu County governs the township. Padang township was established in 1962, changed to commune in 1968, restored to township in 1982, and merged with Padang, sada and pudang Township in 1988. Located in the east of the county, 75 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 168.88 square kilometers and has a population of 3800 (2017). China Nepal highway transit. It has jurisdiction over six village committees, namely, PU, Che, kaang, Saga, Kongbai and Shada. The minerals are lead, zinc and iron. Mainly in agriculture, planting highland barley, wheat, peas, rape and so on. Dangmufeng, known as the holy mountain, stands in the East. Thousands of tourists turn around the mountain every year
