Duojiao Township

Duojiao Township, Nanmulin County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region is located in the southwest of the county, adjacent to Kazi Township in the East, Shigatse City in the West and qiumu Township in the north. The township government is located in Duojiao village, 22 kilometers away from the county seat, with a government building area of 648 square meters, a township area of 226.71 square kilometers, a cultivated land area of 10024.67 Mu and a population of 5586.

Duojiao, which means "speaking path" in Tibetan. The polygonal zone was established in 1960. In 1988, the district office was abolished, and the former Duojiao Township, Changmu Township and chongdui Township were merged to form a separate township. Now it has 10 villagers' committees, including Duojiao, chongdui, Dongzu, Yang, Kangsha, niangmu, Zhongsha, Changmu, zaxizi and Zhongkang.

Duojiao township is close to the side of Xianghe River, with an average altitude of 3930 meters. The land is fertile, and the climate is warm and humid. The township is mainly agricultural production, and the main crops are green naked, winter wheat, peas, rape and so on.
