Dacheng town

Dacheng town is located in the southeast of Raoping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. It borders Zhaoan County, Fujian Province in the East, Suocheng town in the west, Damu mountain in the north and Nanhai in the south. The land area of Dacheng town is 31.95 square kilometers. It has seven administrative villages, namely Shangdong, Dongcheng, Chengnan, Shanghuang, Tianmei, Ximei and Honghua.

Hongcheng temple, Yunfeng courtyard, Damu mountain and golden beach have become tourist attractions.

Stone plate factory, knitting factory and agricultural and sideline products processing factory (such as dried sweet potato and peanut) have become a new force in the development of Dacheng. Dacheng Shangdong melon is very famous, xinhongbao and Heimeiren watermelon are deeply loved by consumers, and have a good market prospect. In 2000, the cultivation of local characteristic agricultural Chinese herbal medicine was listed in the second round of "one Township, one product" development support project (a total of five years). Dacheng town is the county's high-quality sweet potato production demonstration base, with a high-quality sweet potato yield of more than 4000 kg per mu. The fishery production mainly includes deep-sea fishing, shallow sea fishing and sea water seedling cultivation. In 1992, xishitongue (a kind of shellfish), which is naturally propagated in Dacheng Bay, was listed as one of the two breeding reserves in China.
