Baipi Township

Baipi Township, subordinate to Chongren County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the west of Chongren county. It is adjacent to Bashan town in the East, Ma'an town in the south, Fengcheng town in the West and Sanshan Township in the north. It is a mountainous and hilly area with an area of 62 square kilometers. It has 6 administrative villages and 60 village groups. In late 2018, Bai Po Township had 13 thousand and 700 registered residence population.

Baipi township is 21 kilometers away from Chongren county. Luobai highway is the main traffic line in the territory, and No. 9 bus in Chongren county is open to Baipi.

History of construction

In October 1949, the people's Government of the Fifth District was established in Baipi street.

In August 1956, the district was withdrawn and merged into Tangxi commune.

In 1968, it was incorporated into Ma'an commune.

In 1972, Baipi commune was established.

In June 1984, Baipi commune was changed into Baipi township.
