Daga township is located 8 kilometers to the west of Qushui County, at the intersection of the Yarlung Zangbo River and Lhasa River. National Highway 318 runs through the township, which is the main traffic road leading to Shannan and Shigatse.

National Highway 318 goes to Provincial Highway 101 and Shannan area through the bridge.

It has four administrative villages (daga village, Seda village, sepu village and Qinu Village) and 32 villager groups with a total of 8347 people (2017).
