Luchuying Hui Township is located at the junction of Xingren City, Xingyi county and Pu'an County (city), 24km away from Xingren city and 64km away from Xingzhi city. It is the only Hui Township in Southwest Guizhou and Xingren city. It borders Yuzhang town in the East, Louxia town in Pu'an County in the west, wantun Town, Maling town and Qingshuihe town in Xingyi City in the South and xinlongchang town in the north.

General situation

It is one of the two Hui nationality townships in Guizhou Province and the only Hui nationality township in Qianxinan prefecture (established in July 1984). The township covers an area of 146.74 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 94 villager groups in 8 administrative villages (luchuying village, Kongbai village, Haifeng village, Zhongxing village, Duji village, Qingshuihe village, Minzu village and suotu Village). There are 11 ethnic groups, including Hui, Han, Buyi, Li, Yi and Miao, with a total of 4667 households and 17813 people.
