Tianlong town

Tianlong ancient town is located in the southwest of Pingba District, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, about 13 kilometers away from the urban area, adjacent to Leping Township in the north, Chengguan and Baiyun towns in the East, and daxiqiao town in Xixiu District in the southwest. Guikun railway, Zhuzhou Liupanshui double track railway, Guihuang highway, Yunnan Guizhou highway and Qinghuang highway pass through the territory. They are the key points of westbound traffic and the "golden passage" in Central Guizhou. It has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, 97 villager groups, more than 5350 households and 21400 people.

The town is rich in resources, including Tunpu cultural tourism resources preserved for 600 years and Tiantai Mountain, a national scenic spot.

Tianlong town is a national advanced town of culture and sports, a pilot town of small town construction in the whole province, an advanced town of spiritual civilization construction along the highway in the whole province, a provincial town of scientific and technological innovation and selection up to the standard and a town of "two basic" education up to the standard. In 2003, it won the municipal civilization demonstration town and the municipal advanced town of comprehensive management of social security. On January 9, 2019, Tunpu opera was selected into the list of "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" from 2018 to 2020. On July 24, 2019, Tianlong town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.

Tianlong town is one of the folk tourist attractions in Guizhou. Tianlong town was the place where Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of Ming Dynasty, moved his army and stationed troops. It still maintains the ancient customs of Ming Dynasty. The tianlongdi opera here shows the stories of Yang Jiajiang and Mu Guiying 600 years ago. Drama is rough, unique and thought-provoking.
