Yezhong township is located on the North Bank of Beipan River, adjacent to guobuga Township in the East, Shunchang Township across the river in the south, bayberry in the West and Miluo in the north. The township government is 86 kilometers away from the county seat. There are 13 ethnic groups living in the territory, which is a minority Township with Miao, Yi and Buyi as the main ethnic groups.
