Shunhua Town, subordinate to Minle County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Minle County, bordering Hongshui town in the East, Qilian county and Sunan County of Zhangye City in Qinghai Province in the south, fengle Township in the west, Sanpu town and Liuba town in the north. It covers an area of 96 square kilometers. In 2018, 17254 households registered residence in hue town.

After 1949, it belongs to Honghai district. In 1952, Shunhua district was established. In 1952, Shunhua township was set up instead of the district and township. In 1970, it was renamed Shunhua commune. In 1983, it was changed into Shunhua township. In 2017, the township was replaced by township. As of June 2020, Shunhua town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Shunhua village.

In 2018, Shunhua town has 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In the Ming Dynasty, there was a phoenix in Shunhua castle, so it was named Fenghuang castle.

In the Qing Dynasty, it evolved into "Fenghua fort" and later changed into "Shunhua fort".
