Bide town is located in the northeast of Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City. It covers an area of 94 square kilometers and has a population of 32300.

Bide town is located in the northeast of Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, facing Baixing town and Shuguang town of Nayong County across the river in the East, connecting Huale town and Douqing town of the county in the south, Dongdi street of the county in the west, Yangchang town of Nayong County and Xinfang Yi and Miao Township in the north. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the East and south, with an average altitude of 1516 meters. The town covers an area of 94 square kilometers, with 14970 mu of arable land and 39% of forest coverage.
Historical evolution
In 1992, the former bide Miao and Yi nationality township was formed by merging bide, Niuchang and Lihuo before its establishment and withdrawal.
On February 22, 2013, the provincial government (qianfuhan No. 29) approved the cancellation of bide Miao Yi Township and the establishment of bide Town, with the town government in bide village.
