Ganzi Township

Ganzi township is located in the northeast of Leibo County, Sichuan Province, about 85 kilometers away from the city. The highest altitude is 2165 meters in Dagou Liangzi, and the lowest is 325 meters in Dayandong. It covers an area of 31 square kilometers and has a population of 3000. In 1965, the township government moved from ganziping to Xinjie. in 2020, Shuanghekou township will be abolished and its administrative area will be put under the jurisdiction of Ganzi township. Natural conditions

Except a few places such as jixinchao, Ganzi Township belongs to the mid mountain area. However, due to the heavy rain, the air and soil are moist.

Agriculture mainly includes navel orange, green vegetables, Amomum villosum, loquat, Brasenia schreberi, tea, banana, citrus, trees and bamboo. Tea trees are not only on agricultural land, but also on barren slopes and in primeval forests. Tea trees are everywhere. As long as the cultivated land in these places is not cultivated for three to five years, it can become a forest by flying seeds. The conditions for natural regeneration of trees are very good. The bamboo is thick, straight and thin. It is an excellent material for bamboo weaving and an important raw material for papermaking.
