Evolution of organizational system

Heima autonomous township of Yuexi County was established in 1953. It was transferred to Yaluo County in 1956. It was changed into Heima commune in 1974 and Heima Township in 1984. on June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Heima township.
