Xiaodong Street

Old street name. Xiaodong street is located in the southeast of Dadong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It borders Pangjiang street and Dongta street in the East, dongshuncheng street and Shenhe District in the west, Dadong road and Wanquan street in the south, Jinqiao Road and Zhulin road in the north. There are four main streets in the area, namely Dashizi street, xiaoshizi street, Yinyuan street and dongbiancheng street. The sub district covers an area of 2.15 square kilometers and governs five communities, namely Longyuan community, Tianlong community, Minqiang community, Huamao community and Shaotang community, with a total of 16826 households and 50159 people. Xiaodong street is the most competitive tertiary industry street in Dadong District, and its future development is full of infinite vitality. In 1958, two communes, Xiaodongmen and xiaodongbianmen, were established. In 1978, Xiaodong street was merged and built. In 1996, it covers an area of 0.9 square kilometers, has a population of 42000, and has jurisdiction over 28 neighborhood committees. in November 2005, Xiaodong street was abolished and merged into Jinqiao street. In May 2010, Huamao community, Shaotang community, Minqiang community and Tianlong community of Jinqiao street were set up as Xiaodong street. One said that the original jurisdiction of Zhulin street was split and Xiaodong street was set up. on December 2, 2019, Xiaodong street was abolished and its jurisdiction was divided into Wanquan street. After the adjustment, Wanquan sub district office moved from 175 Dadong Road, Dadong District to 27 Dongyi street, Dadong District.
