Linglong town

Linglong town belongs to Zhaoyuan City, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is located in the northeast of Zhaoyuan City. It is the "golden capital of China" - the important gold production town of Zhaoyuan City. As of 2007, the town has a total area of 77.43 square kilometers, 31 administrative villages, 33 natural villages and 14220 mu of cultivated land. With the rapid development of economy, the town has become one of the "national well-off demonstration towns", "top 100 towns with comprehensive economic strength in Shandong Province" and "safe and civilized towns in Shandong Province". The town has perfect infrastructure and strong economic strength. Gold, chemical industry, vermicelli, machinery, construction, building materials, fruits and animal husbandry are the eight pillar industries of the town's economic development. As of 2007, the town has more than 240 township enterprises, individual and private enterprises, 10 joint ventures, more than 40 series of products and more than 300 varieties, with an annual industrial output value of 2.2 billion yuan.

In Ming and Qing Dynasties, Linglong town belonged to Luoshan society and Zhongzhuang society in Huixian mountain. In 1927, it belonged to Luoshan, hengzhang and Zhongzhuang. Luoshan town in 1932. In 1957, it was changed into Luoshan district with 13 townships. In October 1958, it was changed into Panjia commune and Zhufan commune, and later merged into Zhufan commune. In May 1959, it was changed into Luoshan commune. In March 1984, Luoshan township was established by abolishing the commune. In May 1985, Linglong town was established.

Natural resources

Linglong town has the reputation of the first gold town in China. Gold deposits are concentrated in the north of Luoshan and Linglongshan. There is a folk legend that "Roman mountain, golden and exquisite, Jiuqu mountains and rivers, eighteen heavy, golden beams and jade pillars are among them". There are more than 2000 gold veins for mining in the territory, with large reserves, high grade and thick ore body, which is called "Jiandou sand and Pingdou gold". Its reserves rank the first in Asia and it is a world-famous "Gold Mountain silver treasury". Zhaoyuan City is also known as "Jincheng Tianfu" in history because of its rich gold reserves in Luoshan, and now it is "China's golden capital". According to the unearthed cultural relics, Zhaoyuan people began to mine gold in the spring and Autumn period, and Luofeng town was specially set up in the Tang Dynasty because Luoshan was rich in gold. Zhaoyuan's gold production in Song Dynasty is well-known all over the world. In 1007, song Zhenzong appointed ministers to Zhaoyuan to supervise Luoshan Linglong gold mine. According to the "history of the Song Dynasty · records of food and goods", there are thousands of taels of gold in the heaven Nine out of ten of them are from Luoshan, Zhaoyuan. Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty sent Daotai Li Zongdai to set up "Zhaoyuan Gold Mining Bureau". Gold mining industry has lasted for thousands of years. Luoshan

It is 8 kilometers away from the urban area and is a famous scenic spot in Jiaodong. Luoshan mountain is towering, tall and majestic. The main peak is 759 meters above sea level, with the potential of "surpassing Denglai million peaks". Climbing to the top, you can see pingchou in the South and the Bohai Sea in the north, which is the northern barrier of Zhaoyuan. In the old days, there was "jueguan" at the southern foot of Luoshan mountain, also known as "stone gate of Fairy Cave", which was a holy land of Taoism.
