Nibo town is under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Nibo town is located in the northeast of the county, 58 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 145 square kilometers and has a population of 6000.

On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of Puge county and other seven counties (cfgm [2021] No. 1): revoking Lewu Township and putting its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Nibo Town, and the people's Government of Nibo town stationed at No. 206, group 2, Nibo village.

Historical evolution

In 1953, Nibo township was established;

economic development

Nibo town mainly produces corn, buckwheat, potato and oats. Plant pepper, apple and pear. Animal husbandry is dominated by cattle, sheep, horses, pigs and chickens.
