On June 17, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some villages and towns in Yajiang County and other 12 counties (cfgm [2020] No. 9): Juewu township was abolished and Juewu town was established. The administrative region of Juewu township was the administrative region of Juewu Town, and the people's Government of Juewu town was stationed at No. 43, group 1, Juewu village.
