Houan Town, subordinate to Fushun County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Fushun County, adjacent to tangtu Manchu Township in the East, maquanquan Township in the south, Jiubing Township in the West and Shangma Township in the north. In October 1946, it belonged to Fushun County. In October 1958, the red flag commune was established. In October 1983, Wulong township was built. In April 1985, Wulong township was changed into Houan town.
