Pisha Village

Pisha township is under the jurisdiction of Xinlong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Picha township was established in 1959, changed to picha commune in 1974 and fupicha Township in 1984. It is 45 km away from the county seat, with a population of 1233 (2017).

It has jurisdiction over four village committees, namely, Gadi, zuran, Rida and tabpu. It is under the jurisdiction of the working committee of Hexi District, Xinlong County, with a cultivated area of 1261 mu, a stock of 5220 livestock, and a per capita net income of 1125.18 yuan for farmers and herdsmen. the township government has nine in-service cadres, one logistics worker, one primary school and one health center. It has established the township agriculture, animal husbandry and water science and Technology Service Center, the township culture, radio and Television Service Center, and the Township Forestry Service Center. Under the correct leadership of the county Party committee and the county government, the daily work of the township can basically maintain normal operation. The main products of agriculture are highland barley, wheat and pea, and the main products of animal husbandry are yak, goat and sheep. on June 17, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Pisha township.
