Shanwei Township

The township of sevei is under the jurisdiction of Xinlong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In 1956, the town of sevei was set up, and the commune of sevei was changed in 1973. In 1984, the township of fushewei was merged into the township of sevei in 1992.

The town of sevei is located in the north of the county, 22 km from the county. The area is 200.93 square kilometers, with a population of 2903 (2017). Yalong River and new (Longgan) highway crossing. It has jurisdiction over the 7 village committees of kzhedo, sevei, ruse, temple, Jersey, valley day and Yimai.

The village of sevei has a group of sarcophagus tombs from Warring States period to Western Han Dynasty. There are some relics such as skull, peach shaped pot, double ear jar, bronze sword and bronze mirror.
