Shangtuan Township
ShangTuan township is a township under the jurisdiction of Jiulong County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. ShangTuan township is located in the North West of the county, 34 km from the county seat, covering an area of 355.74 square kilometers, and a population of 505 (2017). It is located in the northwest of the county, and is adjacent to BaWO long township to the south, Tanggu Township in the East, Kangding County in the north, Yalong River in the West and Xihe River of Muli County in the West. The township government is stationed in fangmaping, with an altitude of 3260m and 85 km from the county. The whole township has two administrative villages, namely, Ma Ping and yunjiao, and 6 villagers' groups.
Historical evolution
The Republic of China belongs to the first district of BaWO Longbao; in 1956, it was a United branch of BaWO Longxiang; in 1974, it was changed to commune; in 1984, it was divided into Tuan township.
economic development
Local specialty products include Cordyceps, Fritillaria, anemarrhenia, musk, rhubarb, Qiang, astragalus, etc., especially the Cordyceps in the upper cluster, which are well-known in the province and are rich in matsutake. The agricultural production of Shangtuan Township mainly includes corn, wheat, barley and potato. Wild edible mushroom matsutake is sold to Japan.

The township is located on the East Bank of Yalong River, with high terrain in the northeast, low in southwest, magnificent mountains, deep valley gorge and canyon area, extremely inconvenient traffic, abundant forest and broad grassland in the high mountain area. The highest altitude is 5445 meters, and the lowest altitude is 2200 meters. Most of the villages are in deep valley areas. It belongs to the warm temperate zone, the cold temperate zone, the mountain cold temperate zone, the alpine sub cold zone and the alpine cold zone climate. The annual average temperature is 4.6 ℃, the annual precipitation is 1100 mm, and the frost free period is 124 days. Grain production is two crops a year, and wheat, barley and pea are produced in spring, and corn and potato are mainly produced in spring. The main disasters include low temperature, rain and flood, hail, frost, debris flow, flood, etc.
