Hezhi Township
Hezhi township is under the jurisdiction of ABA County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of maisang tuguan. Hezhi township was set up in 1958, commune was changed in 1972, and township was restored in 1984.
On June 8, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province abolished Hezhi Township and put the administrative region of Seergu village in Hezhi Township under the jurisdiction of ABA town; and the administrative regions of Hezhi village, DUWA village and Jiayi village in Hezhi Township were divided into the administrative region of Hezhi town.
Hezhi township is located in the middle of the county, 5 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 186.51 square kilometers and has a population of 3101 (2017). It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely Hezhi, DUWA, Sergu, Gongma and Jiayi. The main agricultural product of Hezhi township is highland barley. Animal husbandry accounts for a certain proportion, and animal products include meat, butter, milk residue, cattle hair, etc.
