Wodi Township
Wodi township is under the jurisdiction of Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Wodi township is located in the southwest of the county, 90 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 361.04 square kilometers and has a population of 2614 (2017). It has jurisdiction over four village committees: chunka, Jinshan, Chengdu and Wodi.
Basic introduction
Wodi township is located in the southwest end of Xiaojin county. It is a typical poverty-stricken Township in Xiaojin County, 104 kilometers away from the county. It is connected with Kangding County of Ganzi Prefecture in the South and Danba County of Ganzi Prefecture in the north. The township covers an area of 361.04 square kilometers. The township government is located at an altitude of 2570 meters. There are 4 natural villages and 13 villager groups in the township, with a total of 475 households, including 21 households engaged in animal husbandry. The total population of the township is 2614 (2017). In 2002, the total agricultural income of the township was 4.01 million yuan, the total grain output was 1.15 million kg, and the per capita net income was 1200 yuan. The township is dominated by Tibetan, Han, Hui, Qiang and other ethnic minorities, with scattered households, poor natural conditions, serious debris flow, poor soil quality and short frost free period.

Wodi township was established in 1954; the commune was changed in 1958; Yongsheng commune was renamed in 1966; Wodi township was restored in 1978.

Economy, culture and education
The economic income of farmers in the township mainly depends on agriculture, animal husbandry, dry fruit industry (Zanthoxylum bungeanum, walnut), and agriculture is mainly corn, wheat, potato, Hu Dou, rape, etc. Due to the constraints of natural conditions, grassland resources and livestock degradation, the development of animal husbandry lags behind. there is one central school, four village primary schools, 22 teachers and 403 students in the township.
