Liuyin town

Liuyin Town, subordinate to Beibei District of Chongqing, is located in the northeast corner of Beibei District, east of Jialing River, east of Cizhu town of Yubei District, south of Sansheng town and Jingguan Town, west of Qingping town of Hechuan district and north of Jindaoxia town. It is about 36 kilometers away from the urban area, with a total area of 63.83 square kilometers.

In 1941, Maliu township was built around Liuyin town. In January 1994, Liuyin Township and Mingtong Township were merged into Liuyin town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Liu Yin town was 23459. As of June 2020, Liuyin town has one community and seven administrative villages, and the people's Government of the town is located at 153 Liuyin street.

In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Liuyin town and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1941, Maliu township was established under the jurisdiction of the Fifth District of Jiangbei County; in 1943, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Jiangbei County; in 1945, it was under the jurisdiction of the second district; in 1947, Maliu township was renamed Liuyin township.

In May 1958, Liuyin township was changed into Liuyin commune.

In August 1983, it was changed from Liuyin commune to Liuyin township.

In January 1994, Liuyin Township and Mingtong Township merged into Liuyin town.

In December 1994, it was under the jurisdiction of Beibei District.

In 1996, Liuyin town had 24 administrative villages including Liuyin, Jiangshan, Tuanbao, miaobu, Beiwan, tongshui, Xiaoqiao, Xihe, bangou, Dajing, Hexing, Tianqiao, huiba, Daming, Erhui, Wenchang, Chayuan, Niushi, Longxiang, Yankou, Shinan, Huabao, Xiannu, Mingtong and a community of liuyinchang.

By the end of 2011, Liuyin town had one community under its jurisdiction, seven administrative villages including Liuyin, maliuhe, Xihe, Mingtong, Dongsheng, Yongxing and Hexing, four resident groups and 34 villager groups.
