Dahe Town, Huangmei County, Hubei Province, is located in the northwest of Huangmei County, bordering Wuxue City and Qichun county. It is the "west gate" of Huangmei County. It was merged by Dahe Town and Wangfeng Township in February 2001.

The town covers an area of 142 square kilometers, ranking the first in the county. The town government is located in dahepu, with a population of 66096 (in 2017), and governs one neighborhood committee and 47 administrative villages.

SISU temple in Xishan

Daoxin, the founder of the four generations of Chinese Zen, founded the Daochang in the seventh year of Wude (AD 624). Memorial Tower of the 15th Red Army

On October 16, 1930, in Wuxiang village, Dahe Town, the fourth and fifth columns of the eighth Red Army, the Yangxin guerrillas along the Yangtze River, and the fifth regiment of the first independent division of the Red Army in Yingqi district were officially incorporated into the 15th army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' red army. Cai Shenxi served as the commander of the army, Chen Qi served as the political commissar, and there were more than 2000 people in the army. In March 1986, the provincial government allocated 280000 yuan for the construction of the memorial tower of the 15th Red Army. It was completed in March 1988.
