Jiabi Township

Jiabi township is located in the southeast edge of Western Sichuan Plateau, northwest of the county seat, upstream of Zagunao River, on both sides of national highway 317, 56 kilometers away from the county seat. It is adjacent to gurgou town in the southeast, miyaro in the north, and Lianghe Township in Xiaojin County on the West. There are four natural villages on the beautiful and rich land of 364.15 square kilometers.

In December 2019, the people's Government of Aba Prefecture decided to abolish Jiabi township.

Jiabi township is home to 12000 hardworking, simple, enthusiastic and generous Tibetan, Qiang and Han people, 94% of whom are Tibetans, and 6% of them are Qiang and Han people.
