Xisuo residence
Xisuo residence is located in xisuo village, zhuokeji Town, markang county. It is a typical village with Jiarong Tibetan characteristics. The whole stockade is row upon row, well arranged, and looks like an ancient castle from a distance. Beautiful Tibetan dwellings are built by local residents piece by piece with stones in the mountains. The gaps between the stones are even and form beautiful curves. The windows are painted with beautiful patterns unique to Tibetan people. The clear suomo river runs past the village. The sound of the river always accompanies the people and houses by the river. The whole village is built close to the mountain. It is well arranged and peaceful. Xisuo folk house has the unique characteristics of Jiarong Tibetan, and maintains the traditional architectural style of Jiarong ancestors' "building a room with stones". The stockade is row upon row, scattered and well arranged, which looks like a fortified ancient castle from a distance. From a distant bird's-eye view of the whole residence, you will be surprised to find that the xisuo Tibetan village is very similar to the "Huayi" pattern in the Tibetan Babao pattern (like the "Chinese knot", representing Sakyamuni's heart), and the straight, vertical and zigzag bluestone path in the village shows the lines of the pattern very clearly. Walking on the green slate path, the sound of footsteps reverberates between the towering stone walls and extends in the slender path, giving people a kind of flaw of winding path leading to seclusion. These stone buildings with clear lines and prominent edges and corners are natural to the surrounding precipitous mountains, precipitous cliffs and other natural environment. The bright totem houses, red tiles and fluttering prayer flags add a bit of mystery here. The Tibetan village is full of three storey stone buildings, with livestock on the ground floor, kitchen and accommodation on the second floor, and scripture hall and guest rooms on the third floor. Residential buildings are shaped like blockhouses, also known as blockhouses. The walls around the house are made of rubble and bonded with yellow mud. The wall is up to 1 meter thick. The masonry method of straight inside and straight outside is adopted. Based on their experience, the stone walls are as neat as bean curd. The edges and corners are sharp and the top is narrow and the bottom is wide. The whole wall is in a compressive state and becomes the main load-bearing body of the building. In addition to the mutual support and pull of the internal wood structure beams, the whole building is big and small, the center of gravity is inward, and the stability is strong. At the highest point, the four corners of the watchtower follow the trend to form a corner front, creating a momentum. The edge of the stone wall at the highest point is thickened to avoid the planarization of the wall surface and enhance the three-dimensional sense. The roof is divided into two parts, the front half is flat top, three sides are built into low walls; the back half is inclined mountain type, covered with stone slabs or tiles. The windows on each floor are small outside and large inside. The window frames are very exquisite, and the skills of carving, painting and coloring are used. The national characteristics are very strong. This kind of watchtower is not only warm in winter and cool in summer, but also has unique architectural art and high aesthetic value, just like precious works of art.
Zhuokeji chieftain official village
it is located in xisuo village, zhuokeji Town, 8 km away from malkang county. Zhuokeji chieftain was first granted the title in 1286, the 23rd year of the Yuan Dynasty. The first chieftain was staibun. In 1750, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty was promoted to the position of Chief Secretary for his meritorious service in dajinchuan, which lasted for 665 years and lasted for 17 generations. The official village is not only the Yamen where the chieftain works, but also the place where the chieftain and his family live. The existing Tusi GuanZhai was built in 1918 and destroyed by fire in 1936. In 1938, it was rebuilt by Suo Guanying, the 16th generation Tusi. The whole GuanZhai covers an area of 1500 square meters, with 63 rooms and exhibition halls. GuanZhai is located in the north and faces south. It is a closed courtyard composed of four watchtowers. The building is large in scale, tall and majestic, with exquisite structure, including the ancient architectural style of Jiarong Tibetan stone blockhouse, integrating secular and religious architectural concepts, which is a unique Castle style building. There are four buildings in the East, West, South and north of GuanZhai. The floors are all decorated with Han style cloisters, and the cloisters are decorated with Han style window patterns and Jiarong style window patterns. The whole building is a bucket structure, without a rivet, showing superb architectural art. In GuanZhai, Jiarong culture exhibition area is mainly concentrated in some buildings on the first floor and the fourth floor, which is divided into 12 exhibition halls, including kitchen, Jingfan room, sheji room, yinting room, liquor making room, and clothing room. The second floor is mainly red culture exhibition hall, a total of 11 exhibition rooms. The third floor mainly displays Tusi culture. Some rooms on the fifth floor and the fourth floor are religious culture exhibition halls, mainly including Wenjing hall, Hongjiao hall, Huangjiao hall, Changshou hall, lion's face Kongxing hall, fasting room and monk's house. Zhuokeji chieftain village is a classic tourist attraction in the Tibetan and Qiang cultural corridor of Aba Prefecture.
