Juguang town
Juguang township is a township under the jurisdiction of Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It was established in 1803, BAMIAO Township in the Republic of China, BAMIAO commune in 1958, Juguang commune in 1967, and Juguang Township in 1984.
On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Tongchuan District and other five counties (districts) (cfzm [2019] No. 21): Caihe township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Juguang Township, and the people's government of Juguang township was stationed at No. 1 Laojie.
Juguang township is located in the north of the county, 12.4 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 23 square kilometers and has a population of 10343 (2017). Dazhou Chengdu railway transit station. It has jurisdiction over 11 village committees, including BAMIAO, Jintu, Yanshou, Fuqiang, Tongfo, Songlin, Fengming, Wangjia, mingluo, Yulin and Xicun.
The township enterprises in Juguang township have liquor making, grain and oil processing, building materials, construction and other industries. The main agricultural products are rice, corn, rapeseed and peanuts, and the main breeding industries are silkworms, pigs, poultry and freshwater fish.
