Guobu Town, belonging to Chongyi County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north central part of Chongyi county. National Highway 220 passes through it. Historical evolution

In 1938, it was changed into a township and set up guobu township.

On August 20, 1949, the people's Government of Chongyi county was established. Guobu Township belongs to guobu district.

In 1968, wuzhiyun reclamation farm and Jinkeng commune were merged into guobu commune.
