Lushi town is located in the west of the middle section of Huaying Mountain, covering an area of 26.85 square kilometers. There are 10 administrative villages, 121 villager groups and 1 neighborhood community committee in the town, with a total population of 18733 (2017). The town belongs to the landform of alternating low mountains, shallow hills and flat dams. It belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone in Sichuan Basin, with abundant rainfall, abundant heat, four distinct seasons and obvious three-dimensional climate.

On July 24, 2019, Lushi town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2019. On July 29, 2020, it will be included in the list of national health towns (counties) to be reconfirmed in 2019.

Evolution of organizational system

Lushi township was established in 1925, the commune was changed in 1958, Xinghuo commune was renamed in 1966, Fulu commune was established in 1969, and the town was established in 1984. In 1997, with an area of 26.7 square kilometers and a population of 28000, it has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages (liushuigou, shanmenkou, dashiba, yaojialong, sanshengzhai, Zoumaling, Liangshuijing, xiaolvshan, dapolao, yueliangpo) and Lushi community neighborhood committee.

Focusing on the development idea of "stabilizing grain and oil production, enriching labor export, strengthening the three pillars and invigorating the reform and opening up", Lushi town has carefully cultivated three major industries (animal husbandry, forest and fruit industry and processing industry), made great efforts to build three major towns (animal husbandry, forest and fruit industry and processing industry) and vigorously developed the characteristic economy. In 2003, the GDP of the whole town was 100.4 million yuan, the GDP ratio of primary, secondary and tertiary industries was 25:64:11, the investment in fixed assets was 74 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 1.81 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 2882 yuan, and the family planning rate was 95.31%.

In 2014, it was selected as the key construction town of Guang'an City Master Plan (2013-2030).

Lushi town is located at the northernmost end of Huaying City, 9.5km away from the residence of the municipal government. It is adjacent to Tianchi town in the East, Shuanghe town in the south, Yongxing Town and Santai township of Guang'an District in the west, and Daishi town and Xinqiao township of Qianfeng District in the north. Development status

Agriculture

On the basis of agriculture, great efforts have been made to adjust the industrial structure, and the industrialization has achieved initial results. The town has 5000 mu of economic fruit forest, of which Huayingshan huanghuali base has been established as a "national agricultural science and technology demonstration park". The development of animal husbandry continues to grow. There are more than 30 large breeding households. Six high-quality forage bases and six demonstration villages have been established in the town, planting nearly 10000 mu of high-quality forage such as chicory, ryegrass and alfalfa. In 2003, there were 33427 pigs, 275833 rabbits, 2130 sheep, 283 beef cattle and 278200 poultry.

The town has cultivated dachuanmen industry, WanMu pear industry, Hongyuan pig industry, Jingshan medicinal fruit industry and other new economic highlights. There are Lushi Huanghua pear company, the largest leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in the town, and mucmen company of Dachuan group, the largest agricultural product processing enterprise. In 2004, huanghuali base in Lushi city was rated as the only national agricultural tourism demonstration site in Northeast Sichuan by the National Tourism Administration. In March 2005, the municipal Party committee and government successfully held the first Huayingshan pear blossom festival, the hometown of Deng Xiaoping in Guang'an, China. The town is rich in human resources, strengthen the "export" and "return" work, heavy service, annual output of more than 5600 surplus labor force, more and more returned entrepreneurs, people's living standards are increasing.

Industry

Chongqing Dachuan suit wooden door group is introduced by using the idle workshop of Hongguang Industrial Park. It produces 300000 sets of solid wood suit doors with an annual output value of 100 million yuan. At present, there are three agricultural products processing enterprises, which process more than 10000 tons of grain and oil annually. Vigorously develop the coal power industry, Tianchi Lake canal head power station with an investment of 16 million yuan is stepping up construction, and the capacity expansion of lanmashi coal mine is proceeding in an orderly manner.

First, convenient transportation. Guangxi highway and Xiangyu railway run through the town. The town government is only 9.5km away from Huaying City. The whole town has achieved the goal of connecting every village to the highway and the courtyard to the stone road.

Second, convenient communication. It has realized village to village telephone, and the installed capacity has reached 1000. Wireless telephone covers the whole territory and has good communication.

Third, the water supply and power supply facilities are perfect. There are two water supply stations in the town area, and the water for residents, industry and agriculture is sufficient. The rural power grid has been comprehensively transformed. There is a 110kV Substation in the territory. The medium-sized hydropower station, the headwork power station, is under construction, and the industrial and agricultural electricity is sufficient.

Fourth, remarkable achievements have been made in the construction of farmland and water conservancy infrastructure. In 2003, the national "Changzhi project" site meeting was held in the town.

Fifth, the pace of small town construction has been accelerated, and Lushi Avenue, which is 1.8 km long, has become a hot spot for investment by individual business owners.

Radio and television have been connected to every village, with 89% of natural villages and 60% of cable TV households. The construction of spiritual civilization has reached a higher level, and 11 civilized villages and 8 civilized units have been built. In March 2020, it will be selected as an advanced township in Sichuan Province to implement the Rural Revitalization Strategy in 2019.
