Shandong Qixia Economic Development Zone is a provincial economic development zone approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government in 1992, with a total area of 60.98 square kilometers, 34 administrative villages and a population of 28000.

On September 1, 2020, Shandong Qixia Economic Development Zone was renamed as Shandong Yantai Fushan economic development zone.

The total area of Shandong Qixia Economic Development Zone is 60.98 square kilometers, with a planned area of 30 square kilometers. The overall planning of 22 square kilometers has been completed, and the built-up area is 8 square kilometers. The Development Zone governs 34 administrative villages with a population of 28000.

Superior location, convenient transportation

Located in the center of Jiaodong Peninsula, Shandong Fushan economic development zone is an important west exit of Yantai City, at the junction of Qixia City, Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Fushan District and Penglai City. Tongjiang Sanya expressway, 802 provincial road and Zhonggu line cross the border. It is 25 kilometers away from Yantai Railway Station and Yantai port, 30 kilometers away from Yantai International Airport, 8.9 kilometers away from the west end of Changjiang Road, the main road of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, and 15 kilometers away from Bajiao port, the largest deepwater port in Jiaodong, 160 kilometers away from Qingdao and 120 kilometers away from Weihai.

Complete infrastructure

A total of 1.26 billion yuan has been invested in infrastructure in the region. Roads in the region have been vertically and horizontally netted and hardened. Land in the region has been leveled and water sources are sufficient. Water supply and drainage, communication (broadband network), cable TV, power supply, gas supply and heating have been completed, realizing "five links and one leveling". There is a thermal power plant in the area with an annual power supply of 1.5 billion kWh and gas supply of 6.5 million tons. It has one 11KVA substation and one 35KVA substation. The supply of tap water is sufficient, and the water supply capacity is 20000 cubic meters per day, which can fully meet the production and living needs. Now we have completed the certification of regional environmental impact assessment, ISO9001 quality management system and ISO14000 environmental management system.
