Qiaojia town

Qiaojia town is located in the south of Yuechi County, 10 kilometers away from the county. Qiaojia town is adjacent to Yuechi County in the north, Pu'an Township in the south, Feilong town in wusheng County in the West and Shiya town in the East. The town covers an area of 36.23 square kilometers, 8 square kilometers from east to west. It is 37 km long and has jurisdiction over three working groups, namely Qiao Jia, cuilong and Taiping. There are 27 villages, 170 villager groups, 1 neighborhood committee and 1 resident group. The total population is 18135 (2017). By the end of 2006, it had jurisdiction over 14 Village (neighborhood) committees (including 1 neighborhood committee) and 170 villager groups. There are 1467 hectares of cultivated land, 1 cultural station, 1 health center, 26 village health and medical stations, 2 Central Primary Schools and 25 village primary schools. There are 70 teaching classes and 3294 students.

Historical evolution

Qiaojia town has a long history. According to county records, it was burned down in the late Qing Dynasty, and then repaired year by year. It was renamed taipingchang. In 1940, it belonged to the first district, and was the headquarters of the main office. In 1950, it was established. It followed the old property name, and then changed to taipingcommune or labor commune, which belonged to Shiya district. In 1981, it was renamed Qiaojia township. In 1992, it was withdrawn and merged with the town, and Qiaojia town was established.

agricultural development

Taiping neighborhood committee is the political, economic and cultural center of Qiaojia Town, with a science and technology market and cultural venues. Qiaojia town has a moderate climate, with 210 mu of arable land. It mainly produces rice, corn and wheat, and other diversified businesses such as sericulture, fruit and pig. The development of agricultural owners is gradually taking shape.

Yangba village, under the jurisdiction of the town government, is located in the southwest of Qiaojia town. The village committee is located in yangjiashiba, about 500 meters away from the town people's government. Before the township was withdrawn in 1992, it was known as one village. There are four villager groups. The terrain is Pingba. The total population of the village is 1055 people. It mainly produces wheat, corn, rice, has good natural conditions, and has many characteristic professional households.

Qiaojia town is located in subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, belongs to shallow hill, the terrain is relatively flat, the highest altitude is 443.3 meters, the lowest is 325.5 meters, the climate is mild, the annual average temperature is 16 ℃, the highest temperature is 38 ℃, the lowest temperature is - 1 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 1000 milliliters, frost free period is about 300 days, suitable for the development of agriculture, animal husbandry and sideline fishery. The main agricultural products are: rice, corn, wheat, rape, sweet potato, taro, ginger, potato, etc.

Science and technology demonstration park

Qiaojia town of Yuechi County has thoroughly implemented the scientific outlook on development, boldly explored and innovated, meticulously organized and implemented, and set off an upsurge of modern agricultural industrialization. The town strives to create the industrial development pattern of "one town and one industry (continuous cropping of edible fungi and high-quality vegetables)". It has cultivated more than 4000 mu of high-quality vegetables, and established the San'an edible fungi professional cooperative in Yuechi County, with nearly 2000 members and more than 3 million yuan of fixed assets. It has also established a high-standard "factory seedling base" and 500 mu of modern agricultural industrialization demonstration Fan district. The town raised more than 2 million yuan to build a new high-tech modern agricultural demonstration park, covering an area of 20000 square meters, which is composed of multi span greenhouses and produced by modern agricultural facilities such as drip irrigation and temperature control.
