Gaocun Township, belonging to Zhao county, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Zhao county, bordering shahedian town in the East, Daying Town of Gaoyi County in the south, Yuanshi County in the west, and beiwangli village in the north, with an administrative area of 57.18 square kilometers.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Gaocun Township belonged to the Southern District of Zhao county; in 1984, Gaocun township was restored; in 1996, xifengsi township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, 44793 registered residence in Gao Village. As of June 2020, Gaocun township has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Gaocun.

History of construction

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Gaocun Township belonged to the Southern District of Zhao county.

In 1940, it belonged to the Second District of Zhao county.

In 1945, it belonged to seven districts of Zhao county.

In 1954, Gaocun township was established.

In 1958, it was the management area of Gaocun village of shahedian commune. Later, Gaocun commune was established.

In December 1958, Zhao county was abolished and merged into Ningjin County.

In 1961, Zhao county was restored, belonging to the state.

In 1984, Gaocun township was restored.

In 1996, xifengsi township was incorporated.
