Zhengzhuang town

Zhengzhuang town is located in the middle of Qinshui County, adjacent to Duanshi town in the East and Longgang Town in the West. SuZhuang Township in the north, Qinchi and Sitou Township in Yangcheng County in the south, with a total area of 378.53 square kilometers. The town has 28 administrative villages, 133 villager groups, 298 natural villages, 17025 permanent residents (in 2017), 52153 mu of arable land. Qinhe river flows through 14 villages with 1377 hectares of irrigated land. It is the main production area of grain, cotton, oil and vegetables in the county.

Traffic climate

The territory has convenient transportation, mild climate, fertile land and sufficient water. The provincial Daoping curve and the county road Zhengzhuang line pass through the town. The Houyue railway passes through 8 villages, 16 kilometers. 28 administrative villages are connected with cement (oil) roads. The annual average temperature of the town is 12.8 ℃, the precipitation is 641.2 mm, the frost free period is 205 days, and the crops can be planted twice a year.

agricultural development

Zhengzhuang town is a big agricultural town. Since the reform and opening up, in the adjustment of agricultural structure, the town has highlighted the development of animal husbandry, vegetables, fruits, sericulture, medicinal materials, seeds and other industries, forming 390 hectares of vegetable base, 80 hectares of medicinal materials base, 333 hectares of seed base, and 113 hectares of orchard. In 2010, the total grain output of the town is expected to be 17155 tons, with an average yield of 247 kg per mu.
