Guangluo Township

Guangluo township is located in the south end of Guang'an District, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, connecting Hualong Township in the East and Zaoshan town in the north; Qifu Township and Luodu town in Yuechi County in the southwest, only 5km away from Guang'an City. The township governs 11 administrative villages, 97 villager groups, with a total population of 14203 (2018), covering an area of 18.1 square kilometers. The township is rich in natural resources and special products. The rural infrastructure is perfect and the economy is developing well.

Infrastructure construction has begun to take shape. Zao Luo highway runs through the whole country, with 256 telephones, China Mobile and Unicom signals covering the whole township. There are 1 junior middle school, 1 Central Primary School, 6 villages and 1 health center in the township. There are 17 village medical and health centers.

Economic situation

The township is a shallow hilly area, gentle terrain, mild climate, subtropical monsoon climate. It mainly produces rice, corn, wheat, sorghum, rape, sweet potato and so on; its sidelines are mainly pig, silkworm, fish and small livestock. There are 4023 farmers, 13781 agricultural population, 5278 labor force and 11115 Mu cultivated land. There are two reservoirs in this township. Chengdu owners have been introduced to the township to carry out three-dimensional agricultural development; integrated management of forest, grass and harvest has been implemented; 6000 mu of high-quality forage is planned to be planted, 20000 rabbits will be raised, reaching an annual output of 1.5 million rabbits.
