Wuxing Street is located in the north of the Central District of Ziliujing District, Zigong City, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of 3.96 square kilometers from Guanghua to xiaoqiaojing,. It has 336 resident groups, 15700 households and 58000 resident population. There are more than 80 regional units. Yingxiang morma, Jiuding shopping plaza, molamate supermarket, Tongxing Road Food Street, Wuxing Street boutique clothing street, great Oriental square and a number of party, government and mass organizations, large and medium-sized enterprises, colleges and universities are located in Wuxing Street, which is the core area of Zigong central business district integrating leisure, entertainment, food and shopping.

General situation

Wuxing Street has nine community residents committees, namely mozijing, Huangjueping, daoshenghao, Xinmin Street, Zhenzhu temple, Santai temple, smallpox well, gaoshanjing and Xianglu Temple communities; Wuxing Street Party committee has one community Party committee, seven general Party branches, three directly affiliated party branches, and more than 1900 party members.

The office has four offices and two offices, namely, the party and political affairs office, the social affairs development office, the economic development office, the urban management office, the finance and taxation office, and the labor insurance office; and there are four relevant departments in the District, namely, the urban management office, the Aiwei office, the judicial office, and the disabled persons' Federation.

In recent years, the Party Working Committee and the office of Wuxing Street closely focus on the central work of the district Party committee and the government, further emancipate the mind, strengthen the service, base on the reality, actively explore, the sustainable development of various social undertakings, and further enhance the ability of public service. Community cultural work is unique, and the mass cultural life is booming. There are 37 sports teams with more than 800 members, 44 morning and evening training teams, and more than 5300 participants. In recent years, various sports teams have participated in more than 100 competitions and performances in the city, district and street, which have been highly praised by the leaders of the city and district and the masses in the district. Mozijing community under its jurisdiction was named as "Sichuan provincial township (town) propaganda and cultural demonstration center" by the Provincial Department of culture in December 2004 and "national advanced cultural community" by the Ministry of culture in November 2005.

Honors

In July 2020, it was rated as "advanced collective of Zigong double support work" by Zigong municipal Party committee, Zigong Municipal People's government and Zigong military division.
