Yajiang Town, subordinate to Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, adjacent to Fujia town in Songtao County of Guizhou Province in the East, Zhongping town in the south, Guanzhuang town in the West and Hong'an town in the north. In the Shuhan Dynasty, Yajiang town belonged to Youyang County; in July 2001, it was changed from Yajiang township to Yajiang town.
