Meibai Town, subordinate to Changning County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northwest of Changning County, Sichuan Province. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the township was established, and the name of the township was Mei and Bai. In 1951, part of the jurisdiction was set aside to build new villages and townships. In 1992, Meibai and Xincun were merged into Meibai township. In 2004, it was listed as an old revolutionary base town. The population living in Meibai township is mainly Han nationality, who moved into the Hui, Miao and other ethnic minorities with their marriage.
