Mingwei town

Mingwei Town, located in the northwest of Cuiping District, Yibin City, was successfully established as a town in April 2017.

Mingwei town is adjacent to Qiuchang town in the East, Jinping Town and Xiangbi street in the south, Shuangyi town in Yibin County in the West and Yongxing Town in Yibin County in the north. It governs 10 administrative villages, 1 community and 98 agricultural communities with a total population of 12572 (2017). The government of Mingwei town is 20 kilometers away from the Central District of Yibin City. The first exit of Neiyi expressway is the boundary of Mingwei town. The traffic is very convenient. Adhering to the concept of "ecological town", we have successfully established national ecological towns, National Health towns, forest towns in Sichuan Province and Shuimei villages in Sichuan Province. In 2017, we hosted the Sichuan agricultural construction site meeting.

On August 26, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the adjustment of some administrative districts in Yibin City, abolishing Mingwei Town, Wangchang town and Qiuchang Town, and establishing jinqiuhu town. The administrative area of jinqiuhu town is the administrative area of the former Mingwei Town, the former Wangchang town and the former Qiuchang town. The people's Government of jinqiuhu town is located at No. 41, Qiufu road.

Mingwei town is a shallow hilly terrain, with an average altitude of about 360 meters and an absolute elevation difference of about 100 meters. It is rich in water resources and green trees. It is a pollution-free suburban ecological agricultural town. The town covers an area of 66.67 square kilometers, and is extremely rich in forest resources, with a total area of 2560 hectares, a forest coverage rate of 56.7%, and a water area of 36 hectares. Cultural tourism

Mingwei town has a profound history. It is the site of Hougang academy, one of the two former academies in Xuzhou. Hougang Academy was built in the late Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. Under the influence of the strong social trend of "Abolishing the imperial examination and revitalizing the school" in the hundred day reform, the local squire Cuan Xin presided over and supervised the construction. Economic industry

The achievements of modern agricultural development are gratifying. With the development of ecological early tea, Aquilaria, lacquer tree, pollution-free sprouts, under forest breeding and modern urban leisure tourism as the main industries, the industrial and commercial capital of 210 million yuan was introduced to build two agricultural enterprises, leading the whole town to build an ecological early tea base of 23000 mu, a forest tea intercropping base of 10000 mu, an Aquilaria base of 6000 mu, a lacquer tree base of 4000 mu, and develop 100000 chickens under the ecological forest. In the core demonstration base of ecological early tea in the town, technologies such as wide and narrow row standard planting, mechanical harvesting of summer and autumn tea, tea intercropping and tea grazing circulation have been fully implemented, and a fog irrigation system has been built to improve the yield and quality of tea. 700 mu of "low Mountain Cloud System" irrigation area and 3000 mu of continuous radiation area have been built. The "fog irrigation system" makes the tea garden form a scene of clouds and mist, just like a fairyland, and promotes the erection of characteristic rural tourism tents such as riding, hiking, photography, fishing and farming experience. Mingwei town has also established the "three transfers and one introduction" mode, actively cultivated new business entities, developed 36 farmers' cooperatives, including 3 National Demonstration cooperatives (Liucheng cooperatives, Hongxin cooperatives, Ming and Qing cooperatives), developed 65 family farms, and cultivated more than 500 professional farmers.

Rural construction

We will make every effort to promote the upgrading of the road network and the supporting construction of modern agricultural infrastructure in the town. The total mileage of hardened roads in the town has reached 316 kilometers, and the "three ten minute" road network of "one ring, seven shoots and eight links" has been built in an all-round way, realizing 80% of farmers and 100% of social hardened roads. Nine characteristic new villages, including happy tea garden Yanshan, Confucian tea culture Minliang, tea garden strolling Yihe, idyllic scenery Pingyan, and green bamboo youyou white tower, have been built, with 500 households occupying 80% of the administrative villages, forming a new village governance system with villagers' autonomy as the main body. We will complete the upgrading and transformation of the town, build a new street of 1000 meters, expand the area of the town by 1.5 times, and complete the construction of Minghu Park, Gangping ancient road, characteristic Antique Street, and Hougang Cultural Square.

Yibin took the lead in building the first e-commerce street in Yibin, realizing the full coverage of 20m free wifi. At present, there are 13 shops with an area of nearly 600 square meters, and three houses with an area of 4000 square meters can be used for commercial development. Eight e-commerce enterprises such as Yibin Taobao, Sanjiang online and sunshine community, and one hand-painted training and planning organization in southern Sichuan have been successfully introduced.
