Muba Township

Muba township is located in the west of Peng'an County, which is the west gate of Peng'an, 29 kilometers away from the county. Located between 31.01 N and 106.45 e, it has a mid subtropical monsoon climate. The landform is dominated by shallow hills and wide dams.

Muba Township borders Longyun town and Julong town in the East, Gaomiao town in the south, Wangjia town in the South and Pingtou Township and Shiliang Township across the river in the north. The township road extends in all directions, shexin Road, Provincial Road 204 line through the township, convenient transportation, business is booming. Agricultural production resources and conditions are unique, rich in rice, fruit.

Pengan is rich in agricultural resources. It is rich in wheat, rice, corn, peanuts, beans, rape, cocoons, oranges, jute, tobacco and a variety of livestock and poultry aquatic products. It enjoys the reputation of "seed production county" of corn and peanuts, "cocoon and silk town" and "China's first county of Jincheng". It has been listed as a major commodity grain county by the state and the province, as well as a base for the development of citrus, silkworm cocoon, live pig, livestock and poultry, and aquatic products. Pengan is rich in oil, natural gas and placer gold. Pengan has abundant energy and developed communication. With abundant power resources, the existing Mahui hydropower station with an installed capacity of 86100 kW and an annual power generation capacity of 420 million kwh, together with the Jinxi navigation power junction project with an installed capacity of 150000 kwh under construction, will provide a solid energy guarantee for the economic development of Peng'an, and the supply of natural gas and tap water will be sufficient. The main products are jute, cocoon, raw silk, Jincheng, Heshu tofu and Pengan dried bean. the main agricultural product of the township is rice. The township is an agricultural township with grain, oil, fruit and sericulture as the main products, and one of the sericulture base townships with sericulture as the main production. The township will fruit, sericulture, Agaricus bisporus as a long-term pillar industry of the township. the township is rich in vegetation, a wide range of woodland, lush grass. The territory is dominated by Masson pine forest, with scattered cypress.

Pengan is rich in tourism resources with mountains and water. Peng'an is the hometown of Sima Xiangru, located between Zhu De's and Xiao Ping's. It is also a unique scenic spot in the Jialing River Basin. The natural and cultural landscape of the Jialing River, 89 kilometers across the county, is unique, belonging to the southern section of the beautiful Jialing three hundred Li described by the poet.
