Baerhu town

Baerhu town is subordinate to Nanbu County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. It is 37 kilometers away from Nanbu County, 30 kilometers away from Xichong, 50 kilometers away from Nanchong, and about 200 kilometers away from Chengdu, Chongqing and Guangyuan.

Baer lake is rich in ecological resources, with a rainfall collection area of about 20 square kilometers. The lake bank is winding and graceful, trees and shrubs are scattered, natural scenery is rich and colorful, flowers and trees are flourishing, birds are flying and fish are flying. It has the reputation of "small West Lake" in northern Sichuan.

On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Baerhu town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.

In January 2018, Dayan township was abolished and Baerhu town was established. The former administrative region of Dayan township was the administrative region of Baerhu town.

In October 2019, Mawang township will be abolished and its administrative region will be put under the jurisdiction of Baerhu town.
