Xiangyi town is under the jurisdiction of Weiyuan County, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province. Xiangyi town is located in the south of Weiyuan County, 15 kilometers away from Weiyuan County and 10 kilometers away from Zigong City. It covers an area of 47.2 square kilometers and has a population of 27337 (2017). Gonglian road passes through. Xiangyi town is located at the southernmost end of Weiyuan County in Neijiang River, just one river away from the downtown area of Zigong. It is the hometown of Luo Shiwen, Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC underground.
