Before the national land policy regulation, on the basis of less than 3 square kilometers of the original development zone, the planning was adjusted to 15 square kilometers, which laid the foundation for the great and rapid economic development of Wuqiao. At the same time, we hired Hebei Urban and rural planning and Design Institute and Dezhou planning and Design Institute to make regulatory detailed planning for the one-step starting area of the Development Zone, and put forward a new planning pattern of "one heart, two axes, two belts and two areas" (see Figure), ("one heart" refers to the comprehensive administrative center of the development zone for centralized handling of daily affairs; "two axes" refers to the two main traffic arteries of the Development Zone (the Yellow River) "Two belts and two areas" respectively refer to two ecological themed Wuqiao counties, namely (West) hulugou and (East) Xuanhui river

In accordance with the requirements of "starting in one year, developing in two years and making breakthroughs in three years", the development zone will invest another 25 million yuan in infrastructure construction next year, further improve the water, electricity, information, lighting and greening projects in Southern District, promote the number of projects entering the zone to reach 30 each year, with a total investment of more than 800 million yuan, so as to ensure the achievement of the three-year goal of the development zone "Pearl River Delta", "Yangtze River Delta", Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Southeast Asia have carried out various forms of investment promotion activities, and successfully introduced a number of large projects with an investment of more than 10 million yuan, such as Hainan Yefeng beverage, Zhejiang Yuejun cotton textile, Taizhou Dapeng pharmaceutical and chemical industry. We have won a number of national and provincial key support projects, such as sewage treatment plant, land consolidation, waterworks expansion, and drip irrigation under cotton mulch. We have also won 120 million yuan from the budget of the higher authorities, effectively alleviating the financial difficulties. In the whole year, 83 foreign projects with investment over one million yuan were introduced, accounting for 51.3% of the total projects in the county. The direct utilization of foreign capital was 970000 US dollars, and the introduction of domestic capital was 339 million yuan.
