Tongshe town is a township under the jurisdiction of Shehong City, Sichuan Province. It was named after the "tongshechang" which originally belonged to Santai (Tongchuan prefecture) and Shehong County. Located in the northwest of Shehong City, it is adjacent to Fuxing town in the East, Jinhua Town in the south, Xiangshan town in the west, Qiulin town of Santai County and Gonghe township of Yanting County in the north. It covers an area of 48 square kilometers, 36 kilometers from the urban area. There are 9 central villages and 178 communities in the town, with a total number of 6950 households and a total population of 21800.

Tongshe town is named after tongshe field. From the Qing Dynasty to the early years of the Republic of China, the jurisdiction of tongshe town is now under the jurisdiction of Santai County (which was then attached to the first county of Tongchuan prefecture) and Shehong County (which was then located in Jinhua town), respectively under the jurisdiction of Santai Xuri township (located in qiulinyi) and Shehong Huaide township. At that time, the site was at the junction of Santai and Shehong counties. It was inconvenient for local people to go to Qiulin farm 20 miles away and Shehong (Jinhua) market 30 miles away. In the 17th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, the upper half of the street belonged to Tongchuan, while the lower half belonged to Shehong County.

from the Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China, it belonged to Xuri township of Santai County. In the 14th year of the Republic of China, Santai County set up tongshechang group A office in Xuri township. In 1951, Santai Tongshe township was established in Santai County. In 1955, Santai County abolished the merger of Santai Tongshe township. In 1956, Santai County and Shehong County adjusted the flower arrangement enclave on the boundary line, and Santai County assigned three villages of Jinyu township (three villages were merged into the former Santai Tongshe township) to Shehong Tongshe township.
Shehong
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Huaide township of Shehong County. In 1940, Tongshe township was established. In 1950, tongshe Township People's government was established. In 1951, some villages were set aside from Tongshe township of Shehong county to establish Jintong township. In 1958, it was changed into tongshe commune. In 1984, it was restored to Tongshe township. in 1992, tongshe town was established by merging tongshe and Jintang townships.
