Renliu street, belonging to Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Lintong city and on the North Bank of Weihe River. It faces hezhai street across the Weihe River in the East and south, Xinfeng street across the Weihe River Bridge in the south, Beitian street in the west, Xinshi street in the northwest and Yujin street in the north, with a total area of 34.3 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

The origin of place names

In the tenth year of Hongwu (1377) of the Ming Dynasty, the officials forced the people to offer their fields to the king's house, and the people left their fields as tenants, so they got the name of mingmingren Liu, which was later called today's name. It got its name because the office was stationed in renliu village.

History of construction

During the reign of emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Ren Liuli.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Yujin town was the third one.

After 1949, it belongs to renliu township of Yujin District, and its jurisdiction includes the villages of renliu Township and natural villages such as Dongyuan, Xiyuan, Zhouyan, Nanma, etc.

In September 1958, it belonged to the management area of Yujin commune, with jurisdiction over 13 brigades.

In April 1961, renliu commune was established.
