Yonghe Township

Yonghe Township, located 68 kilometers north of Cangxi County, connects Wangcang in the north and Yuanba District of Guangyuan City in the West. Yonghe township was established in 1935, changed to commune in 1958, restored to township in 1984, merged into Longwang Town in 1992, and restored to Yonghe Township in 1996. It covers an area of 48.95 square kilometers, governs 9 villages and 54 groups, with a total population of 6243 (2017). There are baiyun'an Martyrs Memorial Park and other unique Red Army cultural sites.

On May 7, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some villages and towns in Cangxi County and other three counties (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2020] No. 1): Yonghe Township and Xinguan Township were abolished, the administrative areas of the former Yonghe Township and Xinguan Township were put under the jurisdiction of Longwang Town, and the people's Government of Longwang Town was stationed at No. 11 Sanyuan street, Longwang community.
